Frank Williams, Golfer Extraordinaire

Frank Williams started playing golf at nine years of age; by 18 he was a good golfer. He was also married. By 24 he was a super salesman but lost his car licence, so he emigrated to Australia and started all over again. And again he became successful. More by accident than design he became a golf tournament entrepreneur and then Greg Norman's manager. Glen Preece Interview

Being a painter was all Glen Preece ever wanted to be. At 17, he became the youngest person to enroll in a TAFE art course. Three years later, disappointed in the direction the teachers were heading, he walked out, much to his mother’s dismay. She locked herself in a cupboard in protest. "She was there three or four hours," says Preece. "She screamed and wailed and went on and on. But it didn't move me."
